Cheeky is a beautiful young girl with a cheeky grin, a playful personality and a gentle, loving nature that is really starting to shine. Since coming into foster care, she’s discovered just how wonderful pats, cuddles and family life can be, and she’s growing in confidence with every new experience. Cheeky loves to play, especially running around, chasing each other and showing off her crazy zoomies. She loves getting out and about and has discovered a real love for the beach, where she has an absolute blast running, playing and even enjoying a splash in the water. After some fun, she’s just as happy settling down with her people for some quiet time. She’s house trained, sleeps through the night and is learning to communicate her needs. She’s also becoming much more comfortable with affection and will now happily curl up for cuddles in the evening. Cheeky can still be cautious around unfamiliar people and situations, but she’s becoming increasingly curious and is now choosing to approach people for a sniff. She’s not quite ready for pats from everyone, but it’s a lovely sign of the trust and confidence she’s building. She’s also curious about other dogs and can be playful, although she’ll benefit from calm introductions and a little time to feel comfortable. Cheeky would suit a kind, patient family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her confidence grow at her own pace. A secure yard would help her feel safe while she continues to explore the world around her. In return, you’ll get a sweet, funny and playful companion whose personality is becoming more beautiful every day. Cheeky’s journey has been about learning to trust, and watching her discover how much she can enjoy life is pretty special.
