Lionel and his brother came in emaciated nearly a month ago. After everything they had been through Lionel is such a beautiful natured dog who would love to keep company with a human all day if he could because he loves affection and will bump you to get contact.
He is excellent with bigger kids and follows them around if he can so a family with older children would suit him well also. Lionel will bark to alert you if there is something around. He will need slow introductions to other dogs.
Lionel has been with other dogs his whole life but due to being starved from such a young age he needs to feel safe and have biscuits for him to graze on
Lionel is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. And had his yearly proheart injection Lionel is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
