Please meet this handsome boy Charlie. Charlie is a larger Jack Russel and definitely is not a lap dog. He is full of energy, playful, loves to play with toys and enjoys a game of tug of war. He needs to be with you at all times. He has been in a foster home with other dogs and interacts well with them. He is a very happy dog and well behaved and can follow commands such as sit, stay & come. He walks on the lead but does tend to pull. However with further training this should improve. He is very alert and maybe a little reluctant towards new people & noises however this doesn’t last long.
He loves his food and knows where the kitchen is. He is an inside dog, toilet trained and sleeps in at night. He has adjusted well to his new environment very quickly. He will need a family that is home with him, ideally a retired couple or someone who works from home. Where you are Charlie will be. He is also good around older children. Smaller children may find him a bit boisterous.
Charlie is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, heart wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. Charlie is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
