Hi everyone, my name is Toby and I am a big, soft-hearted boy. I am very laid back and happy, and love being around my humans. I also like meeting and playing with other dogs – whilst I am still learning to be interested in toys, I love to bounce around like a kangaroo, shadow boxing with my dog friends. I look big and pretty tough, I am actually quite the sook. I love to play with water out of the hose and sprinkler but going for a swim still scares me. I am also a bit scared of getting in the car and sometimes too lazy. So I make my foster humans lift all 40kg of me into the car. Cuddles, kisses and sitting on my humans’ laps are also my favourite. I am only a teenage boy so I’m still learning how to control my body. I have lived in a house but I am also a bit of a cluts. Stairs are not my forte and sometimes I trip over the ground for no good reason. I am big and strong and a bit of a Houdini with my collar and harness, so I will need a human that can teach me how to walk on a lead properly. I am very curious about the world though so I will enjoy walking with my human once I am properly trained. I know some basic things like “sit, “down” and “shake” but still need more training. I can be a quick learner but unfortunately I am not always good at listening – food is the way to my heart!

Toby is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartwormed, wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. Daphne is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.

To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
