Chester is a true Dachshund; he can be a little reactive and easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements. Things like the vacuum cleaner or even the garbage bag being changed can make me nervous, so I do best with patience, reassurance and a calm enviroment.Chester can also be shy around strangers at first, especially men. I may hide until I feel safe and comfortable.Chester absolutely loves children and he truly enjoys playing with them.  Chester has also played with other dogs before and would love a play mate in my new home

During the day he spends time outside and at night he sleeps inside, he also loves burying myself under my blanket and getting all cozy.Being still a puppy Chester needs to be fed morning and night. He enjoys chicken and vegetables, and to always have biscuits and fresh water available throughout the day. Chester can eat quite quickly.Chester still learning confidence and guidance while walking on a lead, and he doesn’t like putting his harness on, so he will need patience, reassurance and continued training. He has a secret scratch spot on his chest that makes him tip right back — it’s one of his favourite things. He likes to bark at noises, a lot, and things happening around, he likes to let everyone know what’s going on.Chesters favourite things include my snuffle mat and squeaky toys.

Chester may need a little time, reassurance and routine to feel safe and comfortable in my new home.
