Ernie is an adorable gentleman who loves to snuggle. He’s a bit scared of things he hasn’t seen before, but learns quickly that not all things are bad. He can sit and shake for treats and is learning quickly. He’s been an outdoor dog so far, and is very hesitant when entering buildings. He travels well in vehicles. He has had exposure to other dogs and gets along well with similar sized dogs. Is hesitant around male strangers, however is great when comfortable in a family home.
He does not dig or chew and has had a small fence and did not jump it. Ernie is a smart, food-oriented and energetic dog who will benefit from further training. He wants to please and get attention. Everyone who meets him comments on his beautiful temperament and his good looks
Ernie is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. Ernie is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
